Academy Awards (AMAA) the continents prestigious award for filmmakers of the
African diaspora has announced the 2014 nominees for what will be the 10th
anniversary of the Pan-African event.
•The nominees were
announced at an exclusive ceremony at the Emperor Palace Hotel in Johannesburg,
in South Africa and was attended by celebrities, government official and
capital in the industry from across the continent.
•Actress/ Host Joselyn
Dumas, Director/Movie written Shirley Frimpong Manso made Ghana proud at the
event having to pick up nominations and also movies like Northern Affair, Good
Old days:Love of AA and Potomanto all were taken up for nominations..
